“Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon considers the film’s fashion designer Patricia Field a genius based on her creations and selections for the film’s stars to wear.

Nixon, who plays lawyer Miranda Hobbs in this hit American television series turned film box office sensation, is back in the second installment of the movie. Aside from its sexy theme, “Sex and the City” has become famous due to the designer clothes worn by its high profile stars – Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Nixon.

Nixon revealed that part of the perks of being the movie’s lead star is having the chance to wear several great designer clothes, jewelry, shoes, scarves, hats, sunglasses, lingerie and many more. She admitted that she’s not that fashion savvy in the past but whenever she’s with Field, she suddenly gets to appreciate the items presented to her.

Nixon added that she just dons on jeans and t-shirts when she’s not working.
