Are leggings back in fashion? Leggings are a type of fitted clothing which originally were used to cover the legs, ideally during sports or aerobics. Originally however, leggings were considered to be two separate pieces of clothing, one for each leg. Leggings are a tight well-fitting pair of trousers which are stylish and classy, and are similar to tights. They are in rage all over the world, and right from the celebrities to the girls going to college, every one can be seen sporting them. They make a fabulous style statement and are very popular amongst young girls. One can wear them underneath short skirts, or a frock, and look uber-cool!

Leggings can be made from a variety of fabrics, be it wool, nylon, lycra or exotic fabrics like stain and silk. However, modern leggings are a blend of lycra and nylon or cotton. Leggings can be made available in numerous colours, black being the most popular amongst them. Skin coloured leggings also seem to be a popular option. While going for a night party or a night over at your boyfriend’s house, leggings seem to be to the most popular item of clothing always. So, the next time you and the girls go out shopping, do not forget to buy a pair of leggings, to add more style to your wardrobe.
