The winner of the Samsung Diva of Dubai Fashion Week 2010 has been announced during the annual event. Samsung Electronics is the major sponsor of this high profile fashion event.

Garima Irisha Kapoor has been adjusted the winner of the event. The judges were Dubai-based fashion designer Salma Khan, Bebhinn Kelly, the Managing Director and writer of HellwaFashion website and a major representative from Samsung.

More than 400 entries have been accepted for the competition. Contestants competed for the title by coming up with designs that befit a modern woman. The collections will then be presented by the last week of this month with the United Arab Emirates region.

Salma Khan said that they had a difficult time choosing the winner for this event. However, they narrowed it down to the one who was able to reflect the personality of the Samsung Diva mobile phone collection.
